Peru San Fernando

Sourced from the remote San Fernando Cooperative in Inkawasi, La Convencion, this organic coffee represents Wonderstate's fifth year partnering with one of Peru's most isolated and elevated growing regions. Cultivated at 2,000-2,400 meters in the heart of the Andes, this exceptional lot features heirloom Bourbon, Typica, Caturra, and Gesha varieties that have been preserved through the region's extreme isolation. Fresh cherries undergo 24-hour dry fermentation before being washed and dried on raised beds at one of four centralized washing stations, where exacting quality standards ensure outstanding results. Expect fragrant maple candy sweetness balanced by roasted almond notes and a soft Meyer lemon finish, creating a densely rich cup with pleasant acidity.
