Roasted by Cartel, Peru Lacco Valley Women's Group single-origin, is grown at 2,200 meters in Peru's Lacco Valley, where the Andes meet the Amazon rainforest. This coffee comes from female producers in the Quechua communities of Mendosayac and Juyhuay. The washed, anaerobic fermentation process yields a light roast with complex flavors of blackberry parfait, orange creamsicle, and cacao nibs. Dominated by Typica variety beans, this coffee reflects the region's biocultural diversity and centuries of agricultural tradition. Supporting this coffee directly empowers women who are transforming gender norms in specialty coffee while maintaining sustainable practices rooted in harmony between nature and tradition.
