Hailing from the Guji highlands, this organically certified Ethiopia Shakiso is comprised of heirloom varietal coffee cherries from 450 smallholder farmers. This beautiful lot is washed and fermented at Wersi station, then air-dried on raised beds. Shakiso delivers the crisp, sweet, and complex cup that makes Ethiopian coffees legendary. Expect notes of red apple, a subtle, juicy pear character, and rounded out by a vanilla sweetness.
