This single-origin coffee from Portrait Coffee, Congo Idjwi Island Washed, comes from high-elevation farms on Idjwi Island in the Democratic Republic of Congo's Kivu region. It is fully washed and delivers a bright, structured cup with juicy tropical fruit up front, soft plum sweetness, and a mellow cocoa finish. The lot was produced by members of Rebuild Women’s Hope, a women-led cooperative focused on expanding economic opportunity and leadership for women in eastern Congo. Careful fermentation and slow drying bring clarity and balance to the cup, making it perfect for filter or espresso brewing.
