This is the Colombia Mejor brought to you by Panther Coffee Roasters. Mejor, meaning ‘best’ in Spanish, is a regional blend of coffees from smallholder producers around Popayán in the department of Cauca, Colombia. These farmers grow Castillo coffee on small plots of land- typically only one or two hectares. These coffees are processed in the washed method and dried on tables at the farm. Notes of sweet cherry, citrus, and milk chocolate combine with great intensity of flavor and a lingering sweetness.
